Thanks, had look at this - but it doesn't help. We have long had Welsh channels listed as 800 numbers, and they have never worked - this has not changed (picture quality being awful, freezing, so on).

None of the missing C41 channels have moved there. I checked originally in case they moved somewhere else on the channel list when they first disappeared.

Thanks anyway.

Simon: I'd look for another device with an RF output - perhaps one tuned to C36. See Single Frequency Interference for the types of device that might be doing this.

Even the box's own output might be causing it - my Humax PVR-9200T's RF output defaults to C36, despite the high likelihood of clashing with analogue Channel 5 at a large number of sites (well, before switchover started anyway).

Lou: If there is an aerial socket, it's likely that there is a communal aerial system already. Contact your landlord or agent to see whether they have made provisions for digital TV already, and how they will handle switchover. If *analogue* TV doesn't work, definitely get in touch - check with other residents to see if it's a common fault.

Hope you can help. Recently started having problems with ch5 on my sky+ box. Gliching on picture and sound and when I rewind live tv the box switches off. Also showing "no signal being received on other rarely used cannels.

Since the retune I have lost all channels in the band 39, MUX D ie Russia today film 4 etc. Manual retuning does not bring them back or an automatic search. We have another tv with set top box that is fine and recieving all channels so it cannot be the aerial. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
