If you use any of these transmitters:

Ainstable, Ballantrae, Barskeoch Hill, Bassenthwaite, Bleach Green VP, Cambret Hill, Coniston, Creetown, Crosby Ravensworth, Crosthwaite, Dentdale, Dumfries South, Glencoyne (Glenridding Link), Glenluce, Glenridding, Grasmere, Greystoke, Haltwhistle, Hawkshead, Kendal, Kendal Fell, Keswick, Kirkby Stephen, Kirkcudbright, Langholm, Lorton, Lowther Valley, Millthrop, Minnigaff, Moffat, New Galloway, Orton, Pinwherry, Pooley Bridge, Portpatrick, Ravenstonedale, Sedbergh, St Bees, Stranraer, Thornhill, Threlkeld, Windermere, Workington.

You will stop receiving BBC TWO on analogue and start receiving the first BBC digital multiplex instead.

If you receive your signal from Caldbeck directly, nothing will happen at the moment.

If you are using the Sandale transmitter, this transmitter will close in a month.

If you have been unable to receive Freeview, you will be able to fit a box within a few hours of BBC TWO being removed from analogue.

At the end of the month, viewers in Whitehaven will also be able to watch all the channels on Multiplex A (not just FIVE).

You might also want to check you do not have one of the TVs and boxes that do not support the 8k-mode.

Geoff Dixon adds:

General Reminder:-

Digital Switchover begins for us (with the switch off of Analogue BBC 2) next Wednesday 24/06/2009. Those of you in the Kendal & Windermere areas with an Analogue only TV will need to connect a new piece of equipment to receive Freeview - a Set Top Box or Digital Video Recorder. Don't panic - there is a website I would like to recommend if you can't follow or have lost your instruction manuals. See :-

DTG :: Consumer :: Connection Wizard

Tick the boxes there for an instant diagram. I'm sure this will help you. Questions to www.ukfree.tv with details and your postcode if you have problems. I'm sure someone will step in with answers.
